British Sign Language (BSL) was recognised by the government as a language in its own right in March 2003 and is the first language of approximately 70,000 Deaf people in the UK. BSL is a visual language which is completely different to the grammatical structure of English.
Proud Hands BSL delivers Signature approved British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 (beginner), Level 2 and Level 3 courses along with Deaf Awareness Training. We also provide refresher courses, one-to-one tuition and assessment practice.
